It was a year ago today that we found out mom had cancer, it was one of the worst days I can remember, just her and I and the doctor in the office when we got the news. It was such a surreal day, then we went to lunch after the appointment....and they played the song..."If you get there before I do" by Colin Raye, and my mother and I sat there quite at the table crying.
